Care Instructions
Please follow the instructions below for cleaning and caring for your accessories.
Pillows
Washing your Pillows:
The majority of Rusao Designs Pillows are made with high quality commercial upholstery fabric, unless otherwise noted. Because of commercial grade products, most of these fabrics have stain fighters built in. This makes your pillows stain resistant, and easy to clean. Many of these fabrics can be washed with a soap and water solution. Test the soap and water solution on a small portion of each fabric type with your cleaning solution and let it dry. Check for any discoloration of the fabric. If no discoloration occurs, proceed to clean the rest of the pillow with the soap and water solution using a clean cotton cloth.
If a severe spill happens on one of your pillows you may consider washing the whole pillow in the washing machine. Please test the fabric with a diluted detergent/water solution. We suggest washing your pillows by themselves and not with any clothing products.
To dry your pillows:
Air drying is the best option. The fiber filling inside is washable, and non-clumping, so your pillows can be dried in a dryer. If you choose to use the dryer option- please use a low heat.
Grocery Totes
Washing your grocery totes:
Grocery totes are made from recycled graphic t-shirts and other interesting fabric. Before every tote is made the fabric is washed and dried in a standard washer and dryer. They are washable and very durable.
Please note: The ribbon secured to the bag has not been pre-washed. If you are concerned that the color may bleed, please remove the ribbon before washing the bag. The ribbons can be stitched back on by hand after washing and drying the bag. If you do not want to remove the ribbon from the bag, please wash the bag and ribbon separate from your other clothing. By not removing the ribbon before washing you may have some color crocking (bleeding) from the ribbon to the bag.
